Thanksgiving in Odessa

We had a great Thanksgiving in Odessa. Oscar and I decided to leave on Tuesday evening hoping Maddie would sleep the whole way. Around 2:30 on Tuesday afternoon I was feeding Madelyn and she threw up her whole bottom and some from earlier in the day. So of course I freaked out and called the pediatrician right away. Maddie seemed fine and had no fever. So we feed her a little more before we left to see if she could hold it down and she did. We left at 5:30 and she slept the whole way. The only time she woke up was when we stopped to feed her and eat dinner. We got to Odessa around 11:30 that night. She slept in our room in the pack and play. She did really good each night. We kinda got back into a few bad habits while we were there of rocking her and feeding her when she really didn't need it. In the early morning she did sleep in the bed with us which she has never done. But since we have been home she has done just fine at night. We had a yummy Thanksgiving lunch/dinner with all the traditional fixings. It was great to see Oscar's family and for some of them to meet Maddie for the first time. Everyone just loved her and she was held almost the whole time we were there. She got a little spoiled b/c she does not want to be put down since we have returned!
