Maddie at 2 1/2

Maddie turned 2 1/2 on December 21st. It seems she has changed so much since she turned 2 in June. Here are some things miss thang is up to:

*Loves to play with her kitchen, play food, pots and pans, blocks, dolls, tea set, play dough, coloring/drawing, finger paints, balls, puzzles, read books, my kitchen stuff, her elmo tent, chap stick, silly puddy(she will carry this around all day long)

*Eats ok. I think her eating habits have become picker as she has gotten older

*Sleeps great-normally goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes around 7:00. Nap is at 1:00 and she usually sleeps till 3:00

*Weights 30 pounds

*Wears 2T & 3T clothing and a size 8 shoe, size 5 diaper

*Loves to wash her hands and brush her teeth

*One of her absolute favorite activities is still swinging, the girl could swing all day! LOVEs to play ring around the rosies

*Some mornings she wakes up and says "I want to go" and "I want to see my friends"

*LOVES her baby brother-she tells everyone she sees that he is her baby brother. She always wants to help me with him and is very sweet to him

*She can be a loner at times. Sometimes when she is with a group of kids she will be off doing her own thing

*She is fickle like her mommy!

*Loves her daddy and always ask where he is and when he will be home!

*She is potty trained with going #2, but is not very interested in going pee pee in the potty yet

*She has such a good memory and always surprises us with things she can remember

*Favorite things to watch: Barney, Dora, Beauty & the Beast, Toy Story 3, Cailou, PBS cartoons

*Can be very sensitive like her mommy also :)

*Loves to help me around the house-cleaning, cooking, laundry

*Has started to ask Why about everything!

We love you Maddie and can't wait to see what you will do next as you grow into a bigger girl!
