Brazil

Oscar just got home from a 10 day mission trip to Brazil, along with my brother in law Barry. He went with a group from FBC Belton. They went to Guarapari, Brazil to build a preschool and do sports camps. They had a wonderful time. I'm thankful Oscar was able to go, but sure am glad he is home! We missed him. They flew out of Houston on a 10 hour plane ride into Rio de Janiero. Then they got on a smaller plane and flew into another town and then got on a bus and drove about 30 minutes to Guarapari.

The team before they left...

The bottom of his leg with lots of dirt...

The men passing buckets of cement. They had to mix the cement by hand and then carry it up a hill to lay on the 2nd floor of the preschool. They mixed between 40-50 tons! Oscar said it was really hard work!

Just couldn't resist this last one of Cruzers in his Brazil shirt and soccer ball...
