Austin

Oscar had a conference to go to in Austin back in June for 2 days, so the kids and I tagged along! I was a little nervous having both kids in the hotel room, but it worked out ok. We dropped Oscar off on the 1st morning and headed to the Central Market b/c it has a nice shaded playgroud. It was fun and I had fun walking through Central Market! We also had some yummy gelato while we were there. There was a nice big walking trail with a pond right by the playground.

I did not like driving through Austin with 2 kids, the traffic was crazy! I had to turn around several times! The next day after we dropped Oscar off we went to Zilker Park. There is a nice, huge playgroud there that Maddie loved. We also got to ride the Zilker Zephyr Train. Maddie loved it!








I'm glad we only stayed 1 night in the hotel, Cruz woke up around 3 and had trouble going back to sleep for awhile, then Maddie was up at 5:45! We got to eat some yummy food like Phil's Ice House & Chuy's! Thanks for letting us tag along Oscar!
