Lady Wildcat Soccer

Oscar and the team had a great season! They won 3rd in district and had a record breaking 15 shutouts! The kids and I were able to go to several of the games after the weather warmed up. Maddie is at an age where she does great at the games and has fun running around. Cruz can be a toot at the games! Anyway...Since they were going to playoffs I wanted to make the girls some kind of goody bag. Oscar's old assistant coach Julie wanted to decorate the looker room. Julie had a baby in November and is now a stay at home mom. So we decided to go shop for the goodie bags and decorating together. We are both not very creative, so it was kinda funny when we were trying to decide what to do! I think everything turned out cute and the girls loved it!

The decorated looker room...

The goodie bags...filled with candy, bubbles, neon sunglasses, plastic necklaces, silly bands, & glow sticks. Also chocolate chip cookies with their pictures tied to them.

We played Longview in the 1st round of playoffs and lost 2-0. It was a bummer! The end of soccer season is always bittersweet. I say this every year! I really want them to go far in the playoffs and its always nice to have a husband again :)! Oscar is such a hard working coach and he gives it his all and puts so much time and effort into the team! Oscar we are proud of you for a wonderful season and appreciate how hard you work. Maddie, Cruz, and I truly are your biggest fans-We love you!!!

Love, thank you for all your support this year. i know its tough with me being gone so often and with the kids acting crazy. Thank you for coming to our games, decorating the locker room and for making it easy to do my job even though you had some long days at home. It was a good season...and especially memorable getting to watch maddie walk out to the middle of Woodson. Thank the Lord for my job and my beautiful family!

Congratulations to Oscar on a great season and continuing to improve the program each year. I know he also has a great impact in the girls' lives. When's Maddie getting her soccer shoes?:-)
