I was still too scared to go anywhere with her so we stayed in!
We started out by going to the annual Belton 4th of July parade. We sat with our friends the Bankheads. We had a great place in the shade and there was a nice breeze the whole time. It was right during Maddie's morning nap time so she wasn't too happy for most of it. It kept her attention some, but she was more interested in eating the snacks we brought!

Every time any military came by we stood and clapped. It always gave me goosebumps and I am very thankful for America!
After the parade we headed home and hung out then we to our Sunday School's annual 4th of July party. We cooked out and watched the Temple fireworks. It was HOT. Even though the party started at 7:00. There was no breeze at all like at the parade. Maddie's head was a ball of curly sweat! Once again she was tired and she watched a few seconds of fireworks and lost interest.

Look at how tiny (well, tiny for Maddie!) she was last year!! We had fun with y'all at the parade. The picture of her head cracks me up! Morgan's was the same way!
Looks like y'all had a fun day despite the heat. Maddie's hair in the last pic is priceless.
I love all of her bows!! I saw her at church this past Sunday with a big precious bow and loved it!!!
